Cookie Policy
This policy explains how DO Communication (Digital Obsession Communication Private Limited) uses cookies and similar technologies on docommunication.io. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies work in a similar way to store or read information on your device:
- local storage;
- pixels or tags;
- scripts that read device information.
In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
Cookies are either:
- first-party, set by us; or
- third-party, set by another company whose service we use.
They are also either:
- session cookies, deleted when you close your browser; or
- persistent cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. Your choice
We only use strictly necessary cookies unless you agree to more.
- First visit. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all or Customise by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Before you choose. No analytics or advertising tags load, and no such cookies are set, until you agree. Google tags also follow your choice through Google Consent Mode: advertising storage stays off unless you allow advertising cookies.
- Changing your mind. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising cookies for that browser. This applies in the US, where GPC is a legal opt-out signal, and we apply it to everyone.
- How long we remember your choice. We keep your choice for 6 months, then ask again.
Legal basis in each region
| Region | What applies |
|---|---|
| EU/EEA and UK | Non-essential cookies need your prior consent (ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, PECR and the UK GDPR). |
| India | Consent for optional cookies is collected as consent under the DPDP Act, 2023. You can withdraw it as easily as you gave it. |
| US (California and similar states) | Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". Rejecting them, or sending GPC, is your opt-out ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"). |
3. Cookies we use

Google and Meta may also set cookies on their own domains if you're signed in to their services. Their policies explain this:
3.4 Fonts and other content
Our fonts and all other page files are served from our own domain. Loading a page doesn't send your information to Google, Meta or any other third party unless you've allowed analytics or advertising cookies.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. Most browsers' help pages explain how, for example:
- Chrome: support.google.com/chrome
- Safari: support.apple.com
- Firefox: support.mozilla.org
- Edge: support.microsoft.com
You can opt out of personalised ads on these pages:
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Meta: facebook.com/adpreferences
- Industry tools: optout.aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU)
5. Changes
We'll update this policy when the cookies we use change. If we add a new optional category, we'll ask for your consent again.
